Single women buy more homes than single men
The National Association of Realtors recently published in their Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers that single females made up 17% of homebuyers in 2016, while single males only made up 7%.
Women are better at paying their mortgages
Research also shows that women have slightly lower foreclosure rates than men.
Women are better with their finances
The Urban Institute’s Housing Finance Policy Center recently found that female-only borrowers have a slightly higher average credit score than their male counterparts, despite the fact that they make, on average, 19% less in their annual income.
Nearly half of Framework customers are women
Since we launched the Framework online homebuyer education course, female homebuyers have consistently registered for the course at almost the same rate as male homebuyers.
